Tyson Foods recalled 190,000 pounds of frozen crispy chicken fritters this week, after complaints from schools about finding plastic in the product. Twenty-nine states were affected by the recall. Luckily, Louisiana was not on that list.

The product was produced at one plant location and sent to distribution centers in 29 states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. - Tyson Foods

This particular product is not sold in stores but sold to "institutional food service locations". No one has reported illness or injury.

The recall comes a month after Tyson recalled twelve million pounds of chicken strips due to concerns of pieces of metal in the product.
