2017 Holiday Garbage & Trash Collection Schedule – Christmas & New Years

With Christmas on Monday, December 25, 2017, and the New Year’s holiday Monday, January 1, 2018, the City of Lake Charles has issued the garbage and trash pickup schedule.

Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Monday, December 25, will be rescheduled for pickup on Tuesday, December 26, and Tuesday's normal schedule will be picked up on Wednesday, December 27. Routes for Thursday and Friday will remain as normally scheduled.

• The Wood Waste Facility, Team Green Recycling Truck, and the Nelson Ball Field Recycling Station will be closed on Monday, December 25, but will resume regular hours on Tuesday, December 26.

Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Monday, January 1, 2018, will be rescheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday's route will be rescheduled for Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain as normally scheduled.

• The Wood Waste Facility, Team Green Recycling Truck, and the Nelson Ball Field Recycling Station will be closed on the New Year’s Holiday, Monday, January 1, 2018 and will resume regular schedules on Tuesday.

Services for all offices of the Department of Public Works will be closed on Christmas and New Years Day, regular offices hours will resume on the following day.
