6ix9ine Has Plan to Get Out of Jail by September: Report
On Monday (April 8) morning, TMZ reported that the embattled rapper is devising a plan to be released from jail by September. According to the site, 6ix9ine and his lawyers are hoping that the other co-defendants in the racketeering case will take plea deals so there won't be a trial, which is set for September.
The rapper's attorney, Dawn Florio, told TMZ that, if his co-defendants take plea deals, she will ask a judge to grant 6ix9ine time served since he's been behind bars since November 2018. If that ends up happening, he might have a good shot to be back home.
As of now, four associates of 6ix9ine—a group that includes Jamel "Mel Murda" Jones, Faheem "Crippy" Walter, Jensel "Ish" Butler and Kifano "Shotti" Jordan—have pleaded guilty in the federal racketeering case. At the end of March, 6ix9ine's former manager, Shotti, called 6ix9ine an "ungrateful rat bastard" for cooperating with the federal authorities.
"He broke every code," he told the rapper's former tour DJ Pvnch in a video posted on the ThatHometeam’s YouTube channel. "But I forgive the little nigga after all that. It's all good."
"Rat9ine or Snitch9ine or whatever that nigga wants to call himself nowadays. He did what he did," he added. "Treyway still stands strong. I want that to be known."
Stay tuned for more updates on this situation.
