6ix9ine’s Security Guard Sentenced to Three Years Probation After New York City Brawl
6ix9ine may be sitting behind bars at the moment, but at least one of his security guards won't be joining him.
According to Page Six, Zachary Bunce was sentenced to three years of probation on Monday (Dec. 17). The 33-year-old member of Tekashi's crew, who was working as apart of the Dummy Boy rapper's security detail, pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor assault after igniting a brawl outside of a restaurant in New York City.
Back in October, Bunce, Faheem Walter and 6ix9ine's ex-manager Shottie aka Kifano Jordan pulled up on the Brooklyn rapper during his dinner with 10K Projects exec Elliot Grainge at Phillipe Chow on the Upper East Side. After Grainge's private security guard denied them access, all three Treyway crew members began to attack the armed guard.
"These males came back a short time later and struck one of the private security guards over the head with a chair," Deputy Inspector Kathleen Walsh from the NYPD 19th Precinct said. "This security guard produced a licensed handgun and fired two times, striking one of the individuals in the torso."
Jordan allegedly escalated the situation further. After striking the bodyguard with a chair, Tekashi's ex-manager was heard uttering a verbal threat.
"I'm going to violate you both with gunshots," Jordan told the guard.
6ix9ine had fled the scene before his crew popped off on the guard. However, Walter was struck by the guard and later taken to the hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Both Walter and Bunce were charged with gang assault. Although Bunce has pleaded guilty, both Jordan, who turned himself into police, and Walter's cases are still pending.
Meanwhile, 6ix9ine has refused to take a plea deal in his overwhelming case. According to a statement from Tekashi's lawyer Lance Lazzaro, the rapper born Daniel Hernandez has full intentions on taking his case to trial and will refuse any plea deal, if presented with one.
