Guess who’s back? After a three-year hiatus, Adele finally appeared with some new music from the follow-up to her Grammy-winning album, 21.

According to Complex, the 27-year-old songbird unveiled a snippet of her new song during a commercial break of a recent episode of The X Factor.

Over a somber piano chord, Adele sings, “Hello, It's me / I was wondering if, after all these years, you'd like to meet / To go over everything / They say that time's supposed to heal you / But I ain't done much healing.”

After the clip went viral on social media, singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic fame) confirmed the news that it is in fact Adele singing the song.
