It looks as if an argument with members of Yo Gotti's team is what led to the shooting of Young Dolph in Hollywood on Tuesday, September 26. The Memphis rapper was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is in "stable, but critical condition."

According to AllHipHop, police say the argument started near the valet area of Loews Hollywood Hotel, where both rappers were staying. When Dolph fell to the ground during the altercation, three assailants opened fire on the "Get Paid" rapper.

Dolph reportedly ran down to a sneaker store, Shoe Palace, at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Ave. where he collapsed. Police have one man in custody, but are still looking for the two others involved with the shooting.

Now, LAPD is naming rapper Yo Gotti as a person of interest in the incident, and he's said to be "directly involved in the confrontation."

Young Dolph was reportedly in town to perform at The Marke on Thursday, September 29.
