Beach Sweep and Inland Waterway Cleanup Postponed Due to Rain and Lighting

Lake Charles, La. -- If you were hoping to assist with the Beach Sweep and Inland Waterway Cleanup on Saturday, September 17, you’ll have to wait until further notice.

The City of Lake Charles and Keep Greater Lake Charles Beautiful -- Team Green is postponing the annual event due to the risk of isolated showers and lightning on Saturday, something the National Weather Service projects could be a risk throughout the day.
