Although everyone is going wild over JAY-Z's 4:44 album, there were plenty of other great songs that dropped this week. And they deserve some love as well. As you prepare to crash all of your friends' 4th of July plans this weekend, take a listen to some of the best songs from the last seven days.

After the shocking first track from JAY-Z's 4:44, he follows that up with the brutally honest track "The Story of O.J." One of the song's great moments is when Hova comments on almost purchasing a spot in Dumbo in Brooklyn. Jay even commented himself on each song's purpose, saying that this one deals with the issue of making money but not spending it wisely.

You might talk to your best friend or punch something when you're bothered. For Kodak Black, he turned to music to discuss the pain he felt when his cousin was shot. On teh aptly titled song "My Cousin," the rapper explains that he's unable to visit his cousin since he's on house arrest and doesn't want to cause his mother anymore stress. Hopefully the new song has granted Kodak some kind of peace this week.

With a mysterious countdown appearing, Tyler, The Creator had a lot of people on the edge of their seats as to the surprise this week. He delivered on his word and released two new songs and a new video. One of the songs, "911/Mr. Lonely" also features Frank Ocean. It has two parts to it, starting out slow and melancholy but then speeds up halfway through.

Off of his 16 mixtape, Trouble takes the time to set aside a track dedicated to his mother and "big momma." He looks back at some of his actions, honorable and otherwise, in order to support his family and close ones. Boosie BadAzz joins him on the track to share his own stories of similar woes.

Despite having a rough time at XXXTentacion's show in Houston about a month ago, Wifisfuneral kept it moving with new music by dropping three new songs. His latest one, "Pop," samples Three 6 Mafia's "Body Full of Bullet Holes." You can expect his major label debut Boy Who Cried Wolf on Aug. 1.

One of the most appealing aspects of Ugly God is that you'll never guess what his next move will be. For example, before his performance at the XXL Freshmen show, he released a diss song directed at himself called "F*ck Ugly God." He exposes himself for a lot of things that most probably don't know about, including getting jumped on Halloween. Perhaps it was a preemptive move on Ugly God's part to beat any other rapper to the punch.

If you're solely looking forward to getting all kinds of twisted this weekend, you're going to want to add Lil Pump's "Molly" to your playlist. The South Florida rapper swags out on the minimal production to explain the levels of how non-sober he is. The song is a wild mix of emotions and energy levels—something that Lil Pump probably felt off the molly and ecstasy.
