Today in Tha Wire Gospel legend Andraé Crouch is memorialized, plus R&B and Hip Hop heavyweights are announced to perform at the 2015 Grammy awards.

Gospel legend Andraé Crouch passed away earlier this month and his life and legacy will be celebrated with a special memorial service to be attended by some of the biggest names in music.

BET.com is live streamed coverage of the special tribute concert, two days in a row, last night at 9 pm and Wednesday (Jan. 21), at 1:00 p.m CT.

Both services are being held at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in L.A. Calif. BET confirmedMarvin Winans performed the eulogy while an all-star band and 80-person choir, including Mano Hanes and Bill Maxwell paid tribute to the gospel legend. All choir members sang with Crouch at one time or another and some came from as far as Tokyo and South Africa to bid him farewell and attend his home going.

In other news, the 57th Annual Grammy Awards is only two weeks away, and the suspense on what what R&B and hip hop's heavyweights will perform has been building.

This morning, some of the hype has been put to rest with the announcement that UsherPharrell and British soul sensation Sam Smith will all be hitting the stage.  BET reports a big highlight for this years show will be the performance from John Legend and Common, who'll team-up to sing their inspirational and award-winning song, "Glory" from the Selma soundtrack.  Madonna and Ariana Grande will also be among the performers on music's biggest night.

To top it off, all the artists just mentioned are up for an award as well.  The 2015 Grammys will air Sunday, Feb. 8 live from Los Angeles's Staples Center, check your local listings for the channel and times.

Finally, while feud between Lil Wayne and Cash Money continues Weey has dropped Sorry 4 The Wait 2 (Listen to it here), hoping to hold fans over has anticipated release of Tha Carter V stalls.

Throughout the 17-track mixtape, Wayne features collabs with everyone from DrakeMack Maine2 ChainzChristina Milian and more. Weezy also goes in on Cash Money and name drops Birdman in a handful of joints.  Plus puts his spin on remix versions to Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love," Rae Sremmurd's "No Type," Future's "Sh!t," and Bobby Shmurda's "Hot N---a."
