I remember when I first heard the Laface Christmas album when I was working in radio in Mississippi. I heard some gems on their from TLC and Usher, but then I heard this song from a group called Outkast. I had never heard this group before and unfortunately I didn't know alot about them.

We didn't have social media back then and all we had was radio and video music channels to see who the artist were. It was also a Christmas song and there weren't alot of Christmas videos back then from artist. But something strange happened, they started sending the song out after Christmas. I thought something was wrong, but they changed the lyrics and made a summer jam for the year. Outkast has always been trending to create new styles of music and they have a following out of this world. The group is made up of Big Boi and Andre 3000, they haven't released an Outkast album in years, but Big Boi has been very busy dropping solo joints for the world. He is back with his third solo album called "Boomiverse". This one here is classic Big Boi with plenty of great beats and features as well.

He stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about his new album and other business ventures that we didn't know about.

Check out one of my favorite jams from the album featuring Killer Mike and Jeezy,
