As anyone could understand, Whitney's only child, 18 year old Bobbie Kristina is not taking her mothers sudden death well at all.  Bobbi was actually in the lobby of the Beverly Hills Hotel when her mother was pronounced dead at about 3:55 p.m.

Bobbi and her mother were extremely close and I can only imagine her grief.  She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital on this afternoon to be treated for a non life threatening element.

Beverly Hills law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ that police responded to a call for a medical emergency, but would not confirm that the person transported was Houston's daughter.

In a statement from the Houston family to MTV News they said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly.   "We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends."

It was reported on Saturday that Bobbi Kristina got into a shouting match with police officers after she was denied entry into the fourth-floor room shortly after her mother had died.  According to TMZ,  Bobbi demanded to see her mother's body, but police allow her to go up.  They wouldn't allow Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick up either.

Bobby Brown, was also distraught over the death of Whitney.  Even though he's remarried and started a new family, he's told a live audience last night the he loved her very much.  Since their divorce he to, has managed to get clean and even re-join his group New Edition.  As a matter of fact, Bobby got the news while in concert with New Edition a Mississippi Saturday night.  He somehow made himself go on stage, but he was visibly shaken.  He did however address the crowd, telling fans that their support for New Edition over the years was the only thing that allowed him to get through the show.

Bobby said, "First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all," he said. "Second, I would like to say, 'I love you Whitney.' The hardest thing for me to do is come on this stage."

Two day prior to her death, Whitney was at the "Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B Grammy Party" at Tru Hollywood nightclub on Thursday.  Whitney wowed the crowd after Kelly called her up on stage and the pair sang a duet of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" before Houston blew kisses to the crowd and walked off stage.
