Breaking: Multiple Officers Shot in North Philadelphia During Standoff

It's been reported that an active shooter situation in a North Philadelphia area has resulted in the shooting of at least six officers on Wednesday. The officers were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, said CBS Philadelphia.

The incident was considered "active and ongoing" during the last report, with the "single male" suspect still in a standoff with law enforcement.

At approximately 5:00 pm police arrived at the building to serve a narcotics warrant, and things "went awry almost immediately", said Police Commissioner Richard Ross. Meanwhile, police are still attempting to get the suspect to "surrender to avoid more injuries".
