Today in Tha Wire, okay the Migos gotta lot going on right now. First, I'll start with the good news. Congrats to Offset and raptress Cardi B! According to AllHipHop the two are Hip Hop's newest couple to get engaged. Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, asked the sassy rap diva to marry him in front of a live audience in Philly at Power 99's Powerhouse Concert last Friday (October 27.) Cardi whose real name is, Belcalis Almanzar, was completely caught off guard!

Cardi's 8ct. engagement ring is the size of a small state, and probably cost about that much too. The incredible dope, pear-shaped bling was custom made by Pristine Jewelers NYC. After all the shock, Cardi gave Offset his answer. She said YES!

There's no question... it's been a huge year for the Caribbean/Trinidadian/Dominican. She's got that gritty, but hilarious personality, with a real life rags to riches story that's captured fans across the world. In 2 years Cardi went from the streets, to the stripper pole, the music scene, to Instagram and VH1 reality TV, signing a record deal with Atlantic, to going #1 on Billboard with "Bodak Yellow," making the Cover of Rolling Stone Magazine's 50th Anniversary edition, and finally superstardom with a net worth of about $5 million.

Gone are the days of poverty for the 25-year old Boogie Down Bronx raptress and her family. In September she became the first solo female artist to have a rap song reach the #1 spot on Billboard's 100, since Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop’ in 1998. Now she's planning a wedding! Wow! What a ride. We wish her and Offset the best.

Now for the bad news. The Migos are gonna have to stay away from trouble and negative news. Once again, the group is has been involved in another squabble. The rukus went down shortly after they performed a the Barclays Center Thursday night. TMZ filmed 26-year old Quavo, and 25-year old Offset double-teaming a guy 10x's their size.

No one really knows why they tried to jump on the big guy, but it appears that he was fighting someone at the beginning of the video. It wouldn't be a surprise if they were a someone with the rap group, based on the way the rappers reacted. It's obvious Quavo and Offset didn't phase the big guy, but he wound up getting assistance. The breif back-n-forth lastest all 2 minutes, before bystanders jumped in and broke things up.

The incident happened right after their performance at the, Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert, in front of the W Hotel in Manhattan. That's about all we know at this time. For more on this story, and the latest in entertainment listen to Tha Wire exclusively on The People's Station 107 Jamz.
