Chris Brown Remakes “This Bitch Lyin” Shirt After Rape Accusation
Chris Brown has released a Paris edition of the "This Bitch Lyin'" tee from his clothing line, Black Pyramid—seemingly alluding to the woman who accused him of rape in Paris earlier this week.
Brown originally launched the "This Bitch Lyin'" shirts in 2016, following his arrest on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after aspiring model and actress Baylee Curran accused the singer of pointing a gun at her and demanding she leave his home after she began inspecting a piece of jewelry. Those charges were later dropped.
As previously reported, Brown and two members of his entourage were arrested in the French city on Monday (Jan. 21), after a 24-year-old woman alleged she had been sexually assaulted by all three men. The singer was released 48 hours later with no charges and approval to leave the country, as police found the alleged victim's statement to be questionable. The officers even reportedly apologized to Brown before he went back to the same hotel.
Brown filed a defamation suit against the woman, who is going by the pseudonym Karima, the following day. However, a report published Friday (Jan. 25) states that despite Brown being cleared and police questioning her statement, Karima still intends to move forward with a criminal investigation against him.
