Christmas Cheer Smalls Sliders & Urban Air Toy Drive Lake Charles

Michael Boyer with Smalls Sliders Lake Charles is teaming up with Urban Air Adventure Park for his 5th annual toy drive. Boyer, it gets bigger and better every year, but said this year is bar far going to be the biggest toy giveaway he's ever done! Boyers and his many wonderful sponsors have raised more than $58,000 to purchase toys for the children in Southwest Louisiana!

When I asked him why he does he do this each year, Boyer said "Giving back is what Christmas is all about." He said, "It's the best feeling in the world seeing the parent's and kids' faces when they show up at a home and start unloading toys. Where they are going to stop nobody knows, not even him! However, if they do come to your neighborhood on Christmas Eve you will see and hear them because they will be led around town with a police escort.

Hey. Giving away toys on Christmas Eve is serious business, especially when you gotta get all the boys and girls back in bed so the real Santa Claus can make his toy deliveries. Boyer's Toy Drive will begin at 3 pm and have a 10-car police escort led by Marshal Nathan Keller and Westlake Chief of Police Chris Wilrye. The toy delivery is going to be 100% random there is no set address, and no names have been pre-selected. This giveaway is completely random!

Here's how the toys will be distributed:

Give toys away to sick children at the hospital
Police will randomly select each stop as they parade through Lake Charles neighborhoods
The toy drive will end at Urban Air Adventure Park at 7 pm

Staff

Deep South Productions owner Marvin Simon will have a stage set up complete with lights, live music, and snow machines. More importantly, more toys will be given away in the foyer at Urban Air. Come out and enjoy a festive Christmas atmosphere from 7 pm to 9 pm. This event is open to all kids 0 up to 18 years of age.

In addition from 6 pm to 8 pm on Christmas Eve, Mallet Buildings in Iowa, Louisiana (511 E. Frontage Rd.-70647) will host a Drive-Thru Toy Giveaway for up to 400 kids complete with complementary gumbo served!

Toys to be given away in the 5th annual event include - Nintendo Switches, Playstations, Airpod Pros, Electic cars and trucks, dolls, and Keebler Elf Cars. and much, much more! It's going to be the best and biggest toy giveaway in Southwest Louisiana ever! Merry Christmas!
