City of Lake Charle : City Services and Operations Updates

The City of Lake Charles is implementing the following changes going into the nationwide, Phase One reopen procedures. Monday, May 18, 2020 City Hall, Central School Arts & Humanities Center, city buildings, and facilities will reopen to the public at 8:00am.

May 4, Mallard Cove Golf Course reopened under strict operating guidelines to the public, as well as the open spaces of city parks. Other city operations, like garbage and trash collection, public safety, transit, and recycling services are all in full operation. The transit service is operational with modifications that will remain in place to ensure the safety of passengers and employees. Such safety measures include the daily sanitation of buses and a limit to the amount of passengers.

Residents can make an appointment by phone to apply for permits and other services, or pay their water bills either in person or through the secure online service.
