Dame Dash Gets Stolen Chain Back After Calling Out Jewelry Store for Trying to Sell It
Dame Dash doesn’t tolerate stealing of any kind, especially when he's the one that was stolen from. In a clip uploaded on The Score’s YouTube channel last Wednesday (Feb. 13), the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records put a jewelry store on blast for carrying stolen merchandise.
Apparently, the former Roc-A-Fella exec was shopping in Sherman Oaks, Calif. when spotted his angel with wings chain that was specifically designed for him by famed jewelry maker Jacob "The Jeweler" Arabo in the jewelry store’s window. The rap mogul quickly started yelling at the store owner about the blinged-out piece.
"You're selling stolen property. This is mine. Get the police. Somebody stole this out my house I got this made,” he shouts in the clip. Mall security eventually arrives and tries to rectify the situation.
In the next shot, we see that cooler heads prevailed and Dame is pleased to have his angel with wings medallion back. He thanks the owner for returning the piece to him and gives a shout-out the store and promises him that he's going to bring customers to his store now.
In the next frame, a happy Dame is in his car showing off the angel piece. “I had to get that back,” he tells his viewers on Instagram Live. “It’s original, they tried to steal the chain.”
