Louisiana's Congressional General Election is today, Saturday, Dec. 7. Voters across the state will cast ballots in a variety of other local races. More importantly, Louisiana residents will vote for 4 Constitutional Amendments. Here's everything you need to know before you go to the polls today.

WHAT IS THIS ELECTION ABOUT?

WHAT TIME DO POLLS OPEN, AND WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • Election day voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • When you go to the polls to cast your vote take one of the following methods of identification:

A driver's license;
A Louisiana Special ID;
LA Wallet digital driver's license;
A United States Military ID (with your name and picture)
