Don’t Miss VH1’s Divas [VIDEO]

Once a year the Divas rock the stage on VH1.  Like Essence Music Festival, it's truly a party with a purpose.

This years celebration will honor the late Whitney Houston and Donna Summer, whom both passed this year.  Among the sistas and brothas scheduled to perform are Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Melanie Fiona, Metric and Pitbull. Plus, Natasha Bedingfield, Keri Hilson, Iggy Azalea, Ledisi and funk legend Bootsy Collins have just been added to the line-up.  They will join previously announced performers Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Melanie Fiona, Metric and Pitbull.

The list of presenters isn't to shabby either.  La La Anthony, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Stacey Keibler, NeNe Leakes, Brandy Norwood and Kelly Osbourne will make appearances at the big show, which air live from the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. on Sunday, December 16^th at 8PM Central on VH1.

As I said VH1's Divas is a party and celebration with a purpose.  The show will benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping music education alive in American public schools.  As a matter of fact to date, VH1 Save The Music has provided more than 49.5-million dollars in new musical instruments to 1,850 public schools in more than 128 school districts around the country, impacting the lives of over 2.1-million children.  Now that's what I call a purpose.
