Download Your Louisiana Legal Digital Driver’s License Free Until the End of May 2019

Louisiana residents have until May 31, 2019, to download their Digital Driver's License FREE from the LA Wallet App.

Here are a few things to know about the digital driver's license, via lawallet.com.

• 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 season.
  Louisiana State Police will accept the LA Wallet Digital Driver's License.
• ATC legally approved all responsible vendors to accept LA Wallet for age verification-required purchases.
• The LA Wallet App is made for Apple iOS and Android.
• Activate it for the cost of 1 premium coffee for the life of your current physical license registration ($5.99 for the life of your current driver's license).

Keep in mind, it's still pending TSA approval, so make sure to have your physical license when moving through airports.

The iOS and Google Play version both went live in Summer 2018.
