Drake's More Life playlist carries the distinction of being perhaps the most heavily streamed release of 2017. Now, it will also be notable for being one of the most successful mainstream projects without a single Grammy nomination.

According to sources at the AP Drizzy hasn't submitted More Life or any songs from it to be considered for trophies at the 2018 Grammy Awards. That means, songs that largely defined 2017, and the project that went platinum within its first month of release, will not have any chance of winning anything at the music world's biggest awards show.

Of course, if you've been following Drizzy's career as of late, you might not be too surprised. Last year, the OVO boss skipped the Grammys, even though he actually won an award. At the time, it was reported that people like Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Drizzy felt the Grammys no longer represented the values of younger music listeners, so they'd stopped recognizing them all together.

It feels like it's actually sort of rarer to see Drizzy appear at any awards shows to begin with. It's been a long time since Drizzy's played by the rules, since he's seemingly been more interested in making his own.

In other Drizzy news, it's recently been reported that the rapper's dating The Weeknd's ex, supermodel Bella Hadid. Drake himself hasn't commented on the alleged romance, but he did throw Hadid a swanky 21st birthday party a couple of weeks ago.
