Drake has finally responded to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Control‘ verse, and according to Drizzy, K. Dot is “not murdering” him at all."

In an interview with Billboard, Drake brushed off Lamar's verse and his boasts of being the best rapper by saying,

“I didn’t really have anything to say about it. “It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That’s all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”

The “murdering” line Drizzy is referring to comes from Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean‘s song ‘Control,’ where he calls out Drake and several other popular rappers, K-Dot raps,

“I’m usually homeboys with the same n—-s I’m rhymin’ with / But this is hip-hop and them n—-s should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale / Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake / Big Sean, Jay Electron‘, Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n—-s."

Drake covers Billboard magazine as he preps for the release of his third album, ‘Nothing Was the Same,’ due September 24th.
