Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin reminds voters that early voting for the Dec. 11 election will jump off Saturday, Nov. 27- Saturday, Dec. 4. Calcasieu Parish will only have local propositions on the ballot, while other parishes across the state will have various other races. To learn more about the election, contact the Elections Division at (800)883-2805, email elections@sos.la.gov or utilize Louisiana’s free smartphone app, GeauxVote. There are a ton of tools available for voters to locate voting info such as polling locations, deadlines, sample ballots, and more using the convenient voting portal app.

To make voting even easier, GeauxBot, a virtual voter assistant is available to access pertinent election details. Secretary Ardoin said at a press conference Wednesday, GeauxBot is available 24/7 by logging onto the voterportal.sos.la.gov or by selecting "Elections and Voting" on sos.la.gov.
