Here’s Everyone That Eminem Disses on His New Album ‘Kamikaze’
Eminem is out here looking for revenge—all Summer '18. He surprised dropped his 10th solo studio album Kamikaze at midnight and on it he lines up his detractors and enemies one by one and shoots them all down. From rival rappers to politicians to culture commentators, Marshall doesn't discriminate with his vitriol. But he takes particular aim at those with less-than-positive things to say about his previous album Revival, a polarizing project that didn't quite receive the love that Em may have expected.
That clap-back attitude is the driving force behind Eminem's new work. "I should aim at everybody in the game/Pick a name/I'm fed up with being humble," he rhymes on album opener "The Ringer." Former friend and Slaughterhouse member Joe Budden gets sniped at on "Fall" in retaliation for a harsh review of Revival single "Untouchable" late last year. Longtime Shady agitator Machine Gun Kelly catches some lyrical bullets. And the rap god hasn't let up on bashing Donald Trump, either.
While Kamikaze is not all disses—Eminem gives props to Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Big Sean and Joyner Lucas, who guests on "Lucky You"—there's a lot of name-calling to go around. He's even dissing when he's not dissing: "I can see why people like Lil Yachty, but not me though/Not even dissin', it just ain't for me/All I am simply is just an MC."
