Fans in Monroe, Louisiana and surrounding areas as well as those who traveled from neighboring states expected to see multi-platinum selling singer R. Kelly, but the angry fans were bamboozled instead.
Fans paid a concert promoter for tickets for what was advertised as an R. Kelly concert but instead, they were short changed by an imposter. Many paid up to $150 to attend the concert and are demanding a refund.
The promoter plans to refund the fans money and even admitted to getting duped.
