Free Booster Seat Giveaway This Saturday

Don’t miss the Phillips 66 Family Safety Day Saturday May 11^th in Westlake at Pinederosa Park.

Did you know that auto accidents are the leading cause of death for children?  Together we can change those statistics by placing our children in the proper vehicle car seats/booster seats.  After all, it is the law.

To help out, on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force and the Louisiana State Police are teaming up for a FREE child safety seat event at Pinederosa Park located at 2901 Westwood Road (LA Highway 378) in Westlake.

This service is provided in conjunction with Phillips 66 Family Safety Day.  Nationally certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to assist with the proper installation of child safety seats and to answer any questions.  Booster seat giveaways are on a first come, first serve basis.

Other criteria are as follows:

1. Child MUST weigh between 40 and 100 pounds
2. Child MUST be less than 4 feet 9 inches tall
3. Child MUST be present
4. Only ONE seat per child
