The Game Says Tupac Shakur Would Be Proud of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Damn.’ Album
It's been a few weeks since the release of Kendrick Lamar's latest album, DAMN., and the props just keep rolling in. Earlier today (May 3), K. Dot received more big time praise, this time from his fellow Compton, Calif. native, The Game.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Game let K. Dot know just how much he's enjoyed his new album while putting down anyone who hasn't bothered copping it. He also says Tupac himself would be proud of the effort.
"From me to whoever THE FUCK is concerned...... this album is a DOPE AS FUCK blood !!! & it's the Lil homie's 3rd LP.... if you are a true fan of HIP HOP, then you have it memorized by now !!! If you are a hip hop fan & you do not have @kendricklamar shit by now...... FUCK YOU, that's on Compton, Bompton & my hood & my kids," The Game said in his post, which included the DAMN. album cover.
In another part of the caption, Game writes that DAMN. has him "beyond motivated" and that he's "glad REAL RAP" still exists. He offers a brief "no disrespect" to "sucka niggas" he says can't rap before going on to promise his Westside Story project is dropping soon. In the series of hashtags appearing after his intial caption-rant, Game includes "#PacWouldBeProud." Major props, to say the least.
As we mentioned before, K. Dot is turning a lot of heads with his new album, and we're sure more rappers will join the list of MCs who've given him props. For now, you can peep the love Game showed to his Compton brethren below.
