Gucci Mane's Mr. Davis album became a quick favorite amongst a lot of the hip-hop community last year, and now the project has earned another accolade. The Atlanta rapper's 11th studio LP is now certified gold, according to the RIAA.

The Recording Industry Academy of America includes Gucci's 2017 project on their latest list of platinum and gold certifications, which shows that it has now moved over half a million units, earning its gold status. Mr. Davis earns its first plaque since it released on Oct. 13, 2017, and comes after the Southern hip-hop veteran earned his first platinum plaque in June last year for his "Both" record with Drake.

Previously, Gucci's album debuted at No. 2 on their Hot 200 albums chart, moving 70,000 equivalent album units within its first week.

The project was one of many musical collections that Guwop dropped since his release from prison in 2016, which includes Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa, mixtapes like Woptober and Drop Top Wop, and collab projects like 1017 vs. The World with Lil Uzi Vert and Free Bricks 2K16 (Zone 6 Edition) with Future.

Congratulations to Gucci on earning another plaque. Check out the gold certification listing with the RIAA below.
