Whenever you are confused about the meaning of Constitutional Amendments on your ballot the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana can help. They break down each amendment and give you an explanation of what your vote would be if you were to vote "yes" or "no".

Just go to their website, parlouisiana.org and there you will find the "Guide to the Constitutional Amendments." Take a few minutes to review the information, and if you still need more details there are further explanations for each amendment on this site. Part of the battle is knowing what you're voting for or against.

Another way to simplify your voting process is to download the geaux vote app. This is an excellent source to arm you with info you need on all state elections. It will even give you your precinct location, voting status, election results, and much more. Click on 'what's on my ballot' and an exact replica of YOUR ballot will pop up. You can fill this out and use it to guide you while you are in the voting booth.

Now, geaux vote! The polls are open from 6 am to 8 pm today
