The program is free and encouraged for all ages to participate. Once you've registered, you can pick up a blanket-making kit at your local Calcasieu Parish Library location from November 1 - November 12. All materials will be provided in your pack with step-by-step instructions on how to make the blanket.

When you've finished making your blanket, you simply put it back into its bag and return it to your local Calcasieu Parish Library on November 17. Library staff will deliver all the blankets to Hobo Hotel in December.

If you choose to make a blanket, please send us a picture via our mobile app so we can write a follow-up article of all your beautiful handy work.
