It's now been over a month since Meek Mill was sentenced to two years in prison for parole violations. In that time, celebs from every corner of the entertainment world have taken the time to support the incarcerated rapper, and Houston Rockets guard James Harden has just joined the list.

Sources tell XXL that the MVP candidate visited the MMG artist at the State Correctional Institution in Chester, Pa. on Tuesday (Dec. 26). Their sources even say Harden's planning to rock some "Free Meek" sneakers during his game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night (Dec. 28). The game will be broadcasted on TNT, so a lot of people will see the kicks.

In case you didn't know, Meek and Harden are both pretty cool with each other. The Philly rapper pulled up to Harden's charity basketball game this past summer, and the two last caught up with each other after the Rockets played the 76ers in Philly this past October.

Harden's claims about trying to get Meek out of prison by February can't be substantiated, but it'd be dope if Meek is, indeed, on the fast track to an early release. A few weeks ago, Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, whom Meek became friends with years ago, said that he'd hoped to get the rapper out of prison in time for Christmas. Obviously, that didn't come to pass, though it's clear Rubin's got his back.
