"Barbershop 3" is going to be hitting theatres within the next few weeks and one of the biggest surprises to me was seeing Common and Ice Cube working together. Back in the day they had a little beef after Ice Cube took offense to a song that Common did called "I used to love her". While the song was not a diss, along with egos came confusion and the rest made things a little difficult for them. Ice Cube retaliated with a song at Common and his reply was one that I will never forget.

He released "The Bitch In Yoo" and the lyrics came hard at Ice Cube. There was even a moment where Common approached Mack 10 over the situation. Well they eventually handled things accordingly with the help of Minister Louis Farrakhan, but they never appeared to work together on anything.

Well Barbershop 3 is coming and since the show is based in Chicago. It only makes sense that Common should be apart of and after two movies, Common is now on board. They actually also came together to record a song on the album called Real People and the track is hot and available on the "Barbershop 3" soundtrack.

Ice Cube and Common- "Real People"

The video shows alot of great moments from Chicago including President Obama and while we know things are pretty hectic in Chicago with crime and things like that. You have to wonder if moves like this could help cease the violence that is going on out there. Get out and support the first weekend of "Barbershop 3" that will be opening in theatres on April 15th.
