Drake's lyrical warfare with Pusha-T has set the internet ablaze with hot takes from rap fans and critics alike. Now, the latest insight on the sizzling feud comes from none other than Ice Cube, who believes the Toronto rapper's reign has undoubtedly come to an end.

During a recent sit-down with the Sana G Morning Show, on Thursday (May 31), Cube expounded on this revelation and explained that while Drake has been at the top of his game it may be time for him to consider stepping down.

"He had a good run," Cube said. "You've only got a three-year run in the rap game. You've only got three years at the tip-top of the rap game before you have to find your place in this thing."

While Pusha's scathing diss record, "The Story of Adidon," seemingly silenced Drake after he delivered his own Pusha diss, "Duppy Freestyle," Cube doesn't believe that that's the sole reason behind his descent.

"I don't know if that did it," Cube said. "I think your reign becomes over, and I think the audience has determined that."

By that metric, however, one could argue that the OVO frontman is way ahead of the curve. Just based on the charts alone, Drake has held the number one position for months now—even breaking records held by legendary acts like Elvis Presley. Not to mention, his forthcoming album Scorpion is perhaps one of the most highly-anticipated albums of the summer.
