Imperial Calcasieu Museum (204 W. Sallier St.) has announced the exciting news that has the potential to impact the lives of local artists by launching the Residency at the Museum (RATM) Project. Artists will be afforded nine months in a space to create and receive monetary resources to help develop their artistic careers.

The compensation provided by the program is a $750/month stipend. That's not all! An opportunity to earn a $500 bonus and studio space in the heart of beautiful Downtown Lake Charles! This program is project-based and engagement-driven. Artists will be selected at all levels and career stages.

This is an incredible chance to work their element of creativity in the following mediums: Sculpture, painting, drawing, film, video, printmaking, new media, mixed media, photography, graphic design, and book arts.

The application process has begun, and time is limited. Apply now through February 28, 2023.
