The Barbe Baseball team is just a few months removed from winning a thrilling State Championship game in Sulphur, but the work continues off the field as the Bucs prepare for the 2024 season. The new season will include a new Locker room for the Bucs team, and it's pretty top-notch!

The Buccaneers are coming off the program's 12th State Championship in Program History, including 6 titles in the last 10 years for Coach Glenn Cecchini and the Bucs.

In May, the Bucs captured the State Title by defeating West Monroe in dramatic fashion. Barbe got down early 4-1 to the Rebels, but Coach Cecchini and the boys kept fighting. They would knock out the Rebel Starting Pitcher Drew Ferguson in the Top of the 7th inning and it was on. Donovan LaSalle would cap off his remarkable career at Barbe by smacking a go-ahead Grand Slam out of McMurry Park in Sulphur and Barbe would complete the comeback and win 10-4.

The Buccaneers, no doubt, have one of the top facilities in the entire state.
