Do you like playing golf? Are you any good at it? How about getting three of your friends together and putting together a four-man or woman team for a fun day on the course while supporting law enforcement?

You can do just that while playing at one of the nicest golf courses in Southwest Louisiana and heck in Louisiana period. Westlake police chief Chris Wilyre has announced that they will hold the Louisiana Association of Chiefs Of Police President-Elect Chief Christopher Wilrye golf tournament fundraiser and it is set for October in Westlake, Louisiana.

Chief Wilrye gave us the info on what the golf tournament proceeds go to. He said,

The Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police is a voluntary, non-profit organization, which represents over 300 Chiefs of Police, as well as other top-level law enforcement command officers throughout the State of Louisiana. We are seeking sponsors and monetary donations to help defray the cost of the conference.

The event will take place at the National Golf Club of Louisiana In Westlake on Friday, October 27, 2023. The tournament is a 4 4-man scramble with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The cost to get in the tournament is $125 per person or $500 per team.

Your team can win some big money if you finish in the top three. You could win $1,000 for first place while second place takes home $750, and third place gets $500.
