Cowboys Caravan Making Stops In Westlake And Lake Charles This Week

The McNeese Athletics is hitting the road and presents the Cowboy Caravan going on all this week in the Southwest Louisiana area. What is the Cowboy Caravan you ask?

It is where McNeese Athletics hits the road to meet and greet fans of not just McNeese Football but also other  McNeese sports like basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, track and field, tennis, and soccer.

Here is your chance to meet all the head coaches of each sport including football head coach Gary Goff, men's basketball coach Will Wade, baseball coach Justin Hill and softball head coach James Landreneau.

Today, Thursday, July 13th, 2023, the caravan will be making a stop in Westlake, Louisiana, and will be at the National Golf Club of Louisiana inside their restaurant called "The Max" which is located at 1000 National Drive. The event will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with free food provided by Fatboyz kitchen table & catering which is also located in Westlake. They will also have free beer & wine.

Then the caravan will make a stop on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 in Lake Charles and will be at Southwest Beverage located at 3001 Industrial Avenue in Lake Charles. It's basically off Broad Street in Lake Charles East of I-210. The event will also take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with free food and drinks.

At either stop, you will be able to meet and listen to Cowboys Football Head Coach Gary Goff and Men's Basketball Head Coach Will Wade discuss the upcoming seasons. So put on your blue & Gold and have some fun meeting the coaches and getting ready for the upcoming seasons.
