Coushatta Crossroads Festival This Weekend: What You Need to Know
Kinder, Louisiana [KNGT-FM] - Summer festival season is in full swing across Southwest Louisiana, and one of the region's most anticipated events is preparing to welcome thousands of music lovers for a full day dedicated to Louisiana's rich musical traditions.
The annual Coushatta Crossroads Festival returns to Kinder this weekend, July 11, bringing together some of the biggest names in Cajun and Zydeco music for what promises to be another unforgettable celebration.
Each summer, visitors travel from across Louisiana, Texas, and beyond to experience the unique culture, food, dancing, and hospitality that have made the festival a favorite destination.
What began as a regional event has grown into one of the premier Cajun and Zydeco festivals in the South, attracting devoted fans eager to hear legendary performers and rising stars all in one place.

The festival takes place inside the Coushatta Casino Resort pavilion, located just behind the casino, offering a comfortable indoor venue for hours of live entertainment. Doors open at noon, allowing attendees time to settle in before the music begins at 1 p.m. The opening performance will feature Alphonse Ardoin, who will kick off the celebration with the unmistakable sounds of traditional Louisiana music.
