Get ready for a weekend filled with plants, laughs, and a whole lot of gardening fun at the 2024 SWLA Garden Conference & Expo!

This isn't just any garden party. It's a chance to help the SW LA Master Gardener Program with the entrance fee. So, while you're having a blast checking out all the plants and garden gadgets, you're also doing a good deed. We like to call that a win-win!

The Burton Complex is the place to be, right at the corner of 7001 Gulf Hwy and Gauthier Road. Just pop it into Google Maps, and you'll be there faster than you can say "compost".

For those selling garden goodies, from local clubs to businesses, there's room for you! Imagine a place where over 60 vendors sell everything from the prettiest flowers and tastiest veggies to the coolest lawn decorations. It's like a treasure hunt for garden lovers!

Don’t forget if you're an early bird and just can't wait for Friday and Saturday and just itching to get a sneak peek, join them for a Preview Dinner on Thursday night (5 to 7 pm). It's like the appetizer before the main garden feast. For $10, you get food, fun, and first dibs on seeing what the show has to offer. You can grab tickets early or just show up and dive in.

Don't miss the Flower Show, where local garden clubs strut their stuff with their flower arrangements. It's like the fashion week of flowers, judged by the pros and open for all to see throughout the Expo.

Got a plant that's looking a bit sad? Bring it over to the Plant Health Clinic. Our Master Gardeners will play plant doctors, just make sure your sick plant is bagged so it doesn’t spread its germs.

There will also be talks on all things green - from choosing the best plants to keeping those pesky weeds at bay. It's free knowledge that's as fresh as morning dew.

This grand event is set for Friday and Saturday, March 22 & 23, at the Burton Complex in Lake Charles, LA.
