
Lake Charles Comedian Jacob Guidry Appears on “Kill Tony”
Dallas, Texas - The Lake Charles comedy scene has continued to rise over the last few years. We love to see when a local hits the big stage and kills it. This week, one of Southwest Louisiana's own, Jacob Guidry, made an appearance on the popular show "Kill Tony."

If you haven’t checked out a comedy night in Lake Charles yet, you’re missing out. Local businesses regularly host comedy nights featuring Lake Charles talent, giving people plenty of chances to laugh and support local comics.
Southwest Louisiana has produced some amazing comedians over the years, including Lake Charles native Jen Kober. Jen tours the country with her stand-up, has had her own shows, and appeared on TV shows like The Righteous Gemstones, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Dead to Me.
Now, I know some of you have no clue what "Kill Tony" is, so here's a little bit about the show. Kill Tony is a popular live comedy show and podcast where comedians get a chance to perform short stand-up sets in front of a crowd. The show is hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, along with a panel of guest comedians. Performers’ names are pulled at random, and each person gets one minute to tell jokes on stage. After the set, the hosts talk with the comedian, giving feedback that can be funny, honest, or sometimes harsh.
This has quickly become one of the most popular shows in the United States with millions and millions of views every week.

On Monday, another Southwest Louisiana native got his shot to be on the popular "Kill Tony" show.

Lake Charles Comedian Jacob Guidry Gets Shot on "Kill Tony"
Jacob Guidry was born and raised in South Louisiana, and he brings small-town stories, quick wit, and unforgettable characters to audiences across the country. From live comedy clubs to viral sketches and impressions, every performance delivers laughs that feel personal and relatable.
Jacob has shared stages with comedians including Greg Fitzsimmons, Jeff Dye, The Sklar Brothers, Kevin Farley, and Kerryn Feehan, while performing at venues such as The Riot in Houston and The Creek and the Cave in Austin.
On Monday, Jacob got to make an appearance on Kill Tony. Popular comedian Adam Ray also joined the panel for Monday's show and had a special treat for Jacob after his stand-up on the show. Check out his appearance around the 2:08:00 mark of this video..
Jacob will be opening for Adam Ray in Birmingham, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia in October.
