Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend Sept. 15-17

The weekend is finally here. You got through another week and now it's time to get out of the house, forget about the important stuff, and just have some fun.

Here in Southwest Louisiana, there are some concerts and sporting events going on in the area. Here is another edition of things to do in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana.

Keith Frank will be live in concert in Lake Charles at Crying Eagle Brewery on East McNeese Street this Saturday, September 16th, 2023. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 9:00 pm.

The McNeese Cowboys will be on the road again this week and will take on Alcorn State in Mississippi. the game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. and you can listen to the game on 92.9 The Lake and on their mobile app at www.929thelake.com/listen-live.

Mark Reeves and Twisted X will be live at Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles on Friday night. They will hit the stage from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Mary's Lounge for Sunday Funday. Mary's is located on East Broad Street. Johnny will hit the stage at 5:00 p.m.

The LSU Tigers football team will travel to Starkville to take on Mississippi State will be on ESPN at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning. So if you want to watch the game, you better get up early!
