Two LSU Stars To Be Featured On Cover Of Sports Illustrated In October

A pair of LSU Superstar athletes will be featured in one of the biggest running magazines in the sports world coming up in October.

The issue in Sports Illustrated will be featuring Gymnist and Social Media Influencer Luvvy Dunne and Superstar Basketball athlete Angel Reese. The feature in the magazine will focus on the Name, Image, and Likeness of Reese and Dunne. Both are a few of the leaders in the NIL world in women's sports.

The Sports Illustrated story noted that NIL money throughout the nation is distributed mostly to college football players and men's basketball stars. That is except at LSU, where the top-earning athletes on the campus in Baton Rouge are female.

Both Reese and Dunne have two of the 10 highest NIL valuations in the country, according to rankings by On3, the industry-leading NIL tracker.

In October, Reese and Dunne will also grace the cover of Sports Illustrated. This piece will feature profiles of both athletes, as well as other female Tigers. It highlights their success in the realm of NIL. The landscape of college athletics has certainly changed in the past few years, and Reese and Dunne are at the forefront of the shift.
