If you are from Louisiana, then you know the food is delicious. Some of the dishes Louisiana is known for are things like gumbo, boudin, cracklins, crawfish, fried shrimp, and more. Louisiana has the best food to offer and people come from all over to try authentic Louisiana Cajun food.

Now if you are not from Louisiana, first you may have trouble pronouncing some of the names of certain Cajun foods. Most have problems prouncing Boudin. They want to call it Boo-Den or something like that. Next are the flavors. Louisiana has some of the best flavored food in the world but most can't handle the explosion of flavors or heat the seasoning brings.

There is a couple, who are from Pennsylvania, who travel around the country in a van trying different foods. The couple's YouTube channel is called Nicholette & Brian, Van Life Food Review Series. They have 36.8 thousand subscribers to their channel.

They happened to be in Louisiana and stopped in Lake Charles, Louisiana, at Steamboat Bills on Lakeshore Drive to try the cuisine. The video below starts with them calling in their order to the restaurant and you will immediately hear them mispronounce Boudin.

Once they get their food, they start eating and reviewing each dish while eating in their van. They ordered boudin balls, shrimp po-boys, baked potato, and gumbo, You will hear them call a pistolette a Louisiana roll, but the greatest is when you watch the lady eat gumbo. It is hilarious.

Now in her defense, she said she didn't know how to eat it and they are not from here so she may not have been told that she should put the rice in the gumbo before eating. Instead, she takes a spoonful of gumbo out of the bowl and then moves over to the rice container and scoops out rice while the gumbo is still on the spoon. Sha baby LOL.
