It's time again for another installment of the Cowboy Block Party on the campus of McNeese State University presented by Lake Charles Toyota, Deep South Productions, and the McNeese Athletic Foundation.

The first Cowboy Block Party of the year was epic. It featured The Flamethrowers and there were a ton of people out there. With that being said, get ready for the next installment. Bring your dancing shoes this Friday night as the man himself, Wayne Toups will be performing live in concert and it's free to go!

That's right, it's free to attend and open to all ages. Bring your lawn chair, and your ice chest with your favorite beverages, and get ready to see and hear the Louisiana music legend himself, Wayne Toups.

Get ready to hear all your favorite songs like Please Explain, Tupelo Honey, Take My Hand, That's What I Love About My Bay, Two Step Mamou, Standing In The Rain, Free Me, True Love Don't Leave Me Blue, and even some classic Cajun songs.

The Cowboy Block Party takes place at the corner of McNeese and Common Street in South Lake Charles at the grove next to Lot A parking lot. There will be food trucks and drinks for sale just in case you don't bring any food or drinks with you.
