Give yourself a round of applause Texas, because we safely made it through the winter storm. As most of us were aware the weather did affect the state by frozen pipes, no running water, and some outages. Now that life is beginning to get back to normal, and the winter weather in Texas is in the mid-60s again, Texans feel like they can finally exhale and get back to their daily routine.

However, according to Farmers Almanac, I wouldn’t just put the puffy jacket in the back of the closet just yet. The fact that certain individuals felt like this was the end of winter in Texas in my opinion was extremely naïve. Not to sound harsh, but for the last couple of years, snow storms in Texas have had a unique but consistent pattern. Almanac representative explained to Texans earlier last year that Texas was in the way of being possibly a victim of snowstorms.

According to Southern Living, Texas is NOT out of the weeds just yet! February and not to mention mid / end of January might even still have a chance for winter storms as well. It's not that hard to believe that there might be some snow in Texas again because the proof is in the pudding, if you were in Texas a couple of years ago like I was, you witnessed the dramatic snowstorm. I urge Texans to definitely take the possibility of drastic snowstorms very seriously here in the great state and prepare properly.
