J. Cole Wants to Impress Nas With ‘Born Sinner,’ Crafts ‘I Disappointed Nas’ Track

Even rappers can be fanboys. J. Cole has apparently recorded a song called 'I Disappointed Nas' after well, disappointing one of his idols.

Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg shared that he heard Cole recorded the song for his upcoming LP, 'Born Sinner.' Reportedly, Nas called up Jermaine after hearing his single 'Work Out' from his debut album, 'Cole World: The Sideline Story.'

Nas thought the song wasn't strong (aka horrible) and told the young rapper that he expected more from him. Cole, saddened to hear this, penned the track 'I Disappointed Nas' as a response.

We'll have to wait until June 18 to hear 'Born Sinner' to see if the so-called track makes the cut.
