Ja Rule is currently incarcerated and began serving a two year bid as of last June.  Unfortunately enough for him, he was convicted of weapons charges relating to a 07' arrest.  On top of that, a month later he was handed

an additional 28-month sentence for not filing his taxes for a few years.  You would think, he wouldn't want to do anything to add more time or cause more problems for himself while being locked-up....right?  Wrong.  He did something kinda stupid that could cause him to get some more time tacked on to the sentence he's already serving.  Get the low down now with Tha Wire.

As part of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music Show, last year Jay-Z torn the house down when he joined Ye for the South by Southwest Music Fest.  If you missed the landmark performance, I've got good news, you wont have to miss it this year.

Jay is set to return to Austin for a special live-stream concert.  The event is being called "Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z" and was announced yesterday in conjunction with a new Twitter initiative for American Express cardholders.

Rumor has it, Jay wont be by himself.  The word is, Eminem may be joining him.  By the way Jay's appearance this year will mark his first solo concert at SXSW.  As far as were and when you can catch it.  Log onto YouTube Monday at about 8 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. CT.  Plus, you can catch a special rebroadcast on YouTube, Twitter and Xbox LIVE Tuesday March 13th through March 19th.

Finally, we wont have to wait to much longer.  According to Jay's longtime sound engineer, Young Guru, Jay's highly anticipated follow-up to Blueprint is in the works.  He added" It has a concept and title, and the title and the concept fit him so well that people are going to be like "Wow."
