CPSO Looking for Identity of Suspects Involved in Drive-by Shooting on 3rd Street

A child was nearly hit during a drive-by shooting on 3rd Street, Tuesday, February 26. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office needs the publics help identifying the suspects.

Deputies responded to a residence in reference to the drive-by shooting at about 10:40 pm, where detectives "located numerous round of various calibers that had even shot into the residence while it was occupied, nearly hitting a 13-year old child", said a media release. Luckily, no one was hurt during the shooting.

Video surveillance was obtained and it shows a light colored car detectives believe was involved, "possibly a Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis".
