Kamaiyah was reportedly arrested a couple of weeks ago for allegedly shooting a gun inside an apartment movie screening room last month.

On Monday (Sept. 23), TMZ reported that the "Addicted to Ballin" rapper was taken into custody earlier this month after police reviewed surveillance footage from a San Fernando Valley apartment building. According to the report, police say the footage shows Kamaiyah and her friends hanging in the building's movie screening room back in August when she pulled out a gun from her bag and let a shot off.

Police believe the shot was accidental because she wasn't arguing with anyone. Kamaiyah reportedly ran off shortly after the incident and wasn't arrested until weeks later. In the interim, a warrant was issued for her arrest and cops had to seek her out. Police have also reportedly found what they believe to be the gun that she used in the incident.

Kamaiyah was reportedly booked for felony negligent discharge of a firearm and released on $35,000 bond a couple of weeks ago.

News of this incident comes nearly a year after Kamaiyah pleaded guilty to creating a "public disturbance" in a May 2018 incident. That case stems from the rapper reportedly refusing to remove her bonnet while going through TSA in Connecticut's Bradley International Airport.  That moment led to her cursing out the agents and being arrested and charged with a misdemeanor breach of peace and interfering with police.

In exchange for her guilty plea, Kamaiyah was issued a small fine and required to write a letter of apology to the officers involved in her arrest.
