Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Welcome Baby Boy

UPDATE (12/7): Kim updated her official website with an official baby announcement (in emoji form, obviously) — and a grand reveal of his name: Saint West, who came into the world weighing in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce. According to People, Saint does not have a middle name.

Saint shares his name with a celebrity baby friend: Pete Wentz and Meagan Camper named their baby boy Saint Lazslo last year.

It's a baby boy for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian!

The power couple revealed today on Kim's official website that she gave birth this morning and that "mother and son are doing well."

The full and succinct statement reads: "To our fans: Kanye and I welcome our baby boy! Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son early this morning. Mother and son are doing well."

The boy, whose name has not been announced yet, is the couple's second child and will be the younger brother to North West, their two-year-old daughter. The arrival of the child ends months of a very public pregnancy that began with the announcement in May on the season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

On Friday night, Kim seemed to be prepared for the coming of her son as she shared an Instagram selfie with the caption: "Ready when you are lol."
